Trainer Charlie Longsdon says Pendra is likely to be involved in the Grand National at Aintree in April.
Pendra, who finished second in the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham Festival, came in 13th in last year's National and Longsdon is hoping for a better showing from the nine-year-old next month.
"I'm pretty sure he'll be Grand National-bound," he said, as reported by the Racing Post. "He ran a cracking race there last year but the rain the night before went totally against him. He jumped round but he got to about the second-last and fell in a hole. With a dry run up to the National you'd be really looking forward to seeing him run.
"Jumping is his biggest asset and I'd like to think he could be a lively 25-1/33-1 shot."
